Enterprise Learning Events

When the whole company is in the room, every moment is a learning opportunity.

I have led enterprise learning events as both a well-resourced global summit and a scrappy, high-stakes in-house production. The through-line is the same: clear goals, executive alignment, and programs that leave people ready to perform.

ThoughtSpot Company Kick-Off 2020

ThoughtSpot was riding high: fresh funding, rapid customer growth, and an aggressive push for market expansion.

This was a moment to inspire a global workforce, align the go-to-market team on new product strategy, and make a statement to the partners and customers in the room. The stakes were high, and the budget matched them.

1,000+ Attendees | $1.2M Budget | 3 Days | Global | PMO Lead

A large conference room with a stage, projection screen displaying the 'ascend' logo, and a speaker presenting at a podium under blue and purple lighting.

Outcomes

A 1,000-person global workforce left aligned on strategy, equipped to sell new product offerings, and energized about the company's direction. Partners and customers in attendance came away impressed.

Every session delivered on time, on brand, and on goal.

High ratings on event satisfaction, quality, and general experience.

Saw lower sales attrition than in prior years.

Program Ownership

As Program Management Officer for the full three-day program, I was the connective tissue between the executive team and every workstream across the organization.

  • Partnered with the executive team to define event goals and learning outcomes; ran weekly cross-functional status calls and managed the agenda through multiple rounds of change.

  • Owned all program deliverables: assigned workflow owners, set deadlines, reviewed all content for continuity and quality across mainstage and breakout sessions.

  • Collaborated with the Branding team to develop the event identity: theme, logo, and slide templates used across all sessions.

  • Co-produced enablement content ensuring every session connected to a clear learning outcome, not just a read-out.

  • Designed and administered post-event feedback surveys; delivered analysis and recommendations directly to the executive team.

Sumo Logic Sales Kickoff 2018

Sumo Logic was coming out of hyper-growth and gearing up for IPO, which meant doing more with less.

This was a high-stakes moment requiring a polished, high-impact program built in-house on a fraction of the budget. No outside agency. No shortcuts on quality.

Program Ownership

500+ Attendees | $200K Budget | 3 Days | In-House Production | PMO Lead

  • As Program Management Officer, I owned two-thirds of the full three-day program while managing vendor relationships directly; no agency layer.

  • Partnered with the executive team to define goals; ran weekly status calls and kept the program on track through shifting priorities and budget constraints.

  • Directly managed vendors for logistics, décor, and budget, ensuring high-quality execution without inflating costs.

  • Developed the event theme and slide templates, maintaining a professional, cohesive brand experience throughout.

  • Co-produced mainstage and breakout content focused on business values adoption and go-to-market enablement.

  • Designed and collected post-event surveys; delivered analysis to executives with recommendations for future programs.

Business conference with a speaker on stage and audience seated at round tables in a hotel ballroom.

Outcomes

  • 500+ employees left aligned on business values and equipped to position new offerings — at 17 cents on the dollar compared to the ThoughtSpot program.

  • The difference wasn't visible to attendees. That's the point.

What this Means for Your Organization

Whether you're planning a global summit or building something extraordinary on a tight budget, I bring the same rigor, executive partnership, and learning-first design to every program I lead. The goal is never a great event.

The goal is a better-performing organization on the other side of it.
